Anyone looking for a camp site in the Jura can choose from lovely sites in France and Switzerland. The French camp site La Pergola has everything in house for a wonderful holiday in a lovely part of the Jura on the border with Burgundy region! The camp site is situated by a clear blue lake with a sandy beach, has excellent facilities and an extensive entertainment programme in high season. A great spot, especially for young families.

There are plenty of opportunities for sports or for keeping active, such as canoeing, sailing, windsurfing or pedalos on the lake,

archery and volleyball on the camp site or walks in the beautiful surroundings! If you want a day without going to the lake there are also 3 heated swimming pools and a jacuzzi!

After all this activity it's wonderful to get your strength back in the friendly restaurant with a terrace beneath grape vines, where you can sample the local specialities (such as Jura Fondue). Cabaret evenings and disco evenings are regularly organised. The camp site takes its name from the old vine covered pergola around the restaurant.

Be sure to visit the local vineyards, the quaint villages and all the beautiful countryside that the Jura has to offer. This is a country of vast spaces, rivers, woods, lakes, caves and many archaeological sites. Lovely Geneva and Lake Geneva are less than two hours drive away.
