One of the Loire region's loveliest camp sites! The location alone makes l’Ile d’Offard camp site unique. Positioned on an island in the River Loire it looks out onto the splendid Samur Castle high above the camp site! Cross the bridge and you’re in the historic city with street cafes, restaurants and shops.

The camp site itself is level, with varied shrubbery and a minigolf course, playground and restaurant-bar. There is regular entertainment for children so there is always something fun to do. Moreover the camp site has a brand new swimming pool for hours of fun in the water.

Bikes can be hired locally for interesting bike rides. Off you go to the National Equestrian School, the Tank Museum or Samur Castle. Or to the cave dwellings, the Toadstool Museum and naturally the River Loire. You can hire boats and sailing boats in the area. Reward yourself en route by sampling a glass of Loire wine from the local farmer!
