Campéole la Pinède camp site is beautifully located on the south coast of the famous Lake Geneva in a part of France (Savoie) between the town of Geneva and the canton of Wallis.

You can walk onto the wide sandy beach from the camp site!. The shallow water slopes gently here making is a suitable place for swimming with small children. You can hire surfboards and boats and there are all sorts of play equipment and beach tents for a refreshing drink. The enormous peaks of the French Alps make an imposing background! The camp site has a lovely natural feel,

marked out pitches between the pine trees and bushes on a gently rolling terrain. A spacious camping shop provides your daily requirements and there is also a restaurant.

Absolutely stunning roads through the Alps take you high up to Habère-Poche and the mountain village of Morzine-Avoriaz, famous for the Tour de France. You can combine your camping holiday by the lake with some camping in the Alps. And as for trips out; take a day in Geneva (27 kilometres) or Montreux (60 kilometres) on the eastern side of Lake Geneva. The French resort of Thonon-les-Bains is close to the camp site.
