Campingpark Wingst is located by the North Sea in the far north of Germany in the Cuxland (Niedersachsen) holiday region. The low lying countryside between Bremen and Hamburg is a contrasting landscape of meadows, woodland, but above all water! Not just the North Sea, the great rivers of Elbe and Weser but dozens of smaller rivers, canals and lakes. No wonder that the beautiful countryside has been declared a World Heritage Site!

You will find plenty of relaxation at this camp site, the only terraced camp site in northern Germany.

Campingpark Wingst is ideally suited for a camping holiday with children. There is a playground and minigolf on the site. Just opposite the site there is an open air swimming pool and an indoor pool which camping guests can make free use of. You can also have horse riding lessons in Wingst. You also have free entry to the world famous Wingst zoo. There is lovely walking and cycling in the vicinity or you can make a trip by horse and cart.

The region is a paradise for watersports enthusiasts, nature lovers and campers interested in environmental or ecological farming methods. You are also not far from Bremerhaven (harbour and shipping museum) or Helgoland. For a great day out you will be amazed by dazzling Hamburg, with its shops and centuries old warehouses! Close to Cuxhaven on the west coast is the protected nature reserve on the Wadden Sea, the Wattenmeer National Park of Niedersachsen.
