Most visitors at campsites in Hungary come to see Lake Balaton orBudapest. Lake Balaton is without doubt a paradise for campers. Tourism plays an important role around the extensive Lake Balaton and there is plenty of choice of restaurants, bars and other places of entertainment. You can eat well in Hungary and they make excellent wines! It is especially good if you are on a campsite in Hungary during one of the many summer festivals!
The other main attraction away from your campsite in Hungary is the capital Budapest. The city is actually in two parts: Buda with its medieval citadel which looks across the Danube to Pest. Of interest here is the famous zoo and the thermal baths. No matter which campsite you choose you will receive a warm welcome everywhere and at prices you can afford.
