Right on the beach and a quick bus ride to the water taxi service to venice. Took 2 hours to travel 10 miles on the morning we were leaving as the road out to the autostrade is very busy!

Stayed on Camping Village Marina di Venezia in Cavallino-Treporti in August 2017

Proximity to punta sabbioni and the easy boat to venice was our reason for choosing this holiday and it didnt disappoint. The local beach was clean with good facilities as an alternative to the pool. Local cycling was fun if you stay on the quiet roads. The cycle map given was useless.

Stayed on Camping Village Marina di Venezia in Cavallino-Treporti in August 2017

Apart from visiting venice, murano, burano etc there is not an awful lot to see in the immediate area. There are some lovely bike rides going out to lio piccolo and towards ca savio taking in the old forts. Jesolo is a big touristy town full of nightlife and shops if you like that sort of thing. Other than that the immediate scenery of pretty flat and uninteresting but marina di venezia is such a great campsite you don't really need to leave it.
