What\u2019s more fun than playing with water? Playing with water while on holiday of course! Are you going to a seaside campsite or a campsite with a swimming pool? Then don\u2019t forget to bring some water toys. Or create your own water games in front of your mobile home or camping pitch. Fun guaranteed for young and old. Here are five tips for fun with water at the campsite.<\/strong><\/p>\n

1. What\u2019s under there? – Snorkeling<\/h2>\n

Are your children ready for a fun challenge? How about snorkeling? It\u2019s a great activity for in the sea, but also for in the swimming pool at the campsite. For extra safety, we recommend the paddling pool. Take a quiet look at the underwater world, or turn it into an exciting search game. For extra fun you can throw in dive rings<\/a>*, plastic animals, and there are even specially made toys that allow you to play the matching game Memory at the bottom of the pool. Everyone will want to join in!<\/p>\n

2. What shapes can you make? – Pool noodles<\/h2>\n

An elephant, a bow or maybe even a big sword; with a little imagination you can turn a pool noodle into any number of different things. Use your noodle to float about, or use it to defeat a water dragon! Or use it as a goal for a game of water polo. With a special connector piece<\/a>* you can make one really long noodle, which you can then bend into even more fun shapes! Do you have an old hollow pool noodle that’s a little worn out? Cut it open and use it to make it a marble track. That way the fun doesn\u2019t need to stop when you are out of the water!<\/p>\n

3. Bobbing and floating about – Inflatable animals<\/h2>\n

If your child is already a good swimmer, an inflatable animal<\/a>* is the ideal playmate. Children can climb on top of them, jump off again, or just float around. A tip: inflatable animals can only carry a limited weight. So that fun inflatable crocodile is perhaps not so suitable for older siblings.<\/p>\n

4. Watch out, here I come! – The belly slide<\/h2>\n

Perhaps you remember this one from when you were little. The perfect thing for a warm day, the belly slide! Launch yourself onto the slippery surface, see how fast you can go, and then get up quickly and go again; it\u2019s just about the most fun you can have with your friends. This outdoor game is still loved by children everywhere. You can buy this kind of slide in a shop, but it’s also easy to make yourself. A piece of tarpaulin (three by two meters, but bigger is even more fun), some no-tear soap and of course water, and the fun can begin! Bonus tip: It’s a lot of fun to spray the tummy sliders with a water gun. So make sure you have your Super Soaker at the ready!<\/p>\n

5. High waves and cool pirates – A toy waterway<\/h2>\n

Of course you can also have fun playing with water at your accommodation or camping pitch. A waterway table<\/a>* or box is ideal for this. Construct the toy and fill it with water. You child can control the water using watermills, locks and pumps. Now everyone can let their imagination run wild. Sail a ship over high waves or let toy dolls practice their diving. Anything goes! This water toy is ideal for parents of young children. You can enjoy the nice weather while the children enjoy playing with water.
