Beautiful campsite at wonderful location in the Jura

Camping Domaine de Chalain is beautifully located in a wooded area 500 metres from the Lac de Chalain near the village of Doucier. From Domaine de Chalain campsite you can visit the impressive waterfalls Les Cascades du Hérisson, and Champagnole, the pearl of the Jura.

Welcoming site with plenty of amenities

Campsite Domaine de Chalain is a real family campsite with good facilities. There is a supermarket, bakery, kiosk, ice cream parlour, laundrette and bar. You can hire a refrigerated unit at the reception.

Indoor and outdoor pool and lake

At Camping Domaine de Chalain you can enjoy the outdoor pool with water slides, waterfalls and Jacuzzi from June to September. Throughout the season you can also make use of the indoor swimming pool including toddlers' pool, sauna and Turkish bath. Lake Chalain has a patrolled beach. You can try out various types of water sports.

Family with children, 12 - 18 years

Grote camping, geschikt voor jong en oud. Voor tieners is er genoeg te doen. Ligt prachtig aan het meer. Toiletgebouwen laten wel wat te wensen over, waar wij gebruik van maakten was erg oud en eigenlijk aan vervanging toe

Mooie camping met genoeg faciliteiten. Super mooi dat de camping aan het meer zat. De schoonmaak van de toiletgebouwen zijn een punt van aandacht

Super fijne camping, de boodschappen waren er zeker betaalbaar. Alleen erg weinig (in het zicht) animatie

Het is een mooie camping met een heel mooi meer.
Jammer dat ze niet op de site aan gegeven dat er in het zwembad geen shorts gedragen mogen worden, nu moesten we achteraf nog een strakke zwembroek kopen
De animatie vonden we erg tegen vallen, de kinderen hadden wat meer verwacht en wat vooral voor de leeftijd van 7 jaar.

Het is een mooie camping maar heeft wat betreft de toilet/douche gebouwen behoorlijk achterstallig onderhoud.
