The Les Vikings campsite is a family campsite in Normandy; in Lower Normandy to be exact, the region around the harbour town of Cherbourg. At this campsite in France, you will only be 400 m away from the beach and sea! The beaches in this area on the French west coast are sandy.
If you would like to spend the day at the Les Vikings campsite, you can enjoy the swimming pool with its flumes, patio and sun loungers. There is a brand-new heated indoor pool with a toddlers’ pool, balneo bath, geyser and flume at the Les Vikings campsite. This pool flows seamlessly into the outdoor pool, which is in the Yelloh campsite!
The Les Vikings village is flat and well maintained. You can enjoy a great meal at the restaurant or on the patio.
The Les Vikings campsite is very safe for children and there is plenty for the little ones to enjoy, including a bouncing castle! If they would like a change from having fun in the water, there is a games room, playground and sports field.

There are many interesting museums dedicated to this part of history. You can enjoy travelling by boat from the old harbour to the island of Jersey. Jersey is a British island, but is much closer to France than England. There is a tourist train to Barneville. The best way to get to know the quiet winding roads of the Normandy countryside is by bike. You can enjoy the peace, quiet and space of the countryside and cycle past the castles of Bricquebec or La Haye-du-Puits.
