Camping La Côte Sauvage is a family campsite on the island of l’île de Ré, set in peaceful, wooded surroundings and very close to the beach. It's perfect for a family holiday.

Camping La Côte Sauvage is situated just 100 m from a beautiful sandy beach, where your children can play happily with a bucket and spade. While the children play, you can relax in the sun and get lost in a book. If you have forgotten your book, then don't worry as camping La Côte Sauvage has its own lending service. If you would prefer to play a game, board games such as draughts and chess are available. La Côte Sauvage also has a play area where your children can slide, climb and clamber to their hearts' content. Entertainment is provided throughout July and August along the theme of 'nature'.
For sports enthusiasts, the campsite offers football, badminton, volleyball, table tennis and of course jeu de boules. To keep your friends up to date on your holiday or tweet a picture of you having fun, the campsite boasts WiFi internet access throughout the site.

The surroundings of this campsite in France can be explored both on foot and by bike. For campers who have not brought a bicycle with them, the campsite has a bicycle hire service. At the tip of l’île de Ré you will find the fantastic lighthouse 'Phare des Baleine', and it is really worth climbing the 257 steps to the top to enjoy the views and admire the staircase itself. You can also take a walk along the wide sandy beach of Conche, which was the location for filming the allied landings in the film 'The Longest Day'.
