Camping Domaine du Verdon is located in one of the most beautiful places you will find in France, right on the River Verdon renowned for its spectacular canyons, the Gorges du Verdon.

The 4 star camp site offers enough facilities to ensure you and your family a pleasant and relaxed holiday. The pitches are spaciously laid out, marked by hedges and shaded. Besides which there are two swimming pools, with a children's pool and various slides. There is a small lake on the other side of the camp site on the River Verdon where you can go sailing. Young children can enjoy themselves on the playground equipment. The camp site organises everything for all ages and every day there is something new to experience. The sports excursions are spectacular, such as rafting and canoeing or visiting the imposing canyons of Verdon.

You can of course view the impressive river landscapes in a much more sedate way. An absolute must in the area is Provence's loveliest village Castellane. A bit further away on the Côte d’Azur you will find Cannes and Nice. You will be camping among all that is charming about Provence: undulating lavender fields and old towns, and the Mediterranean is never far away!

The modern, spacious and fully equipped frame tents of no less than 25m² will ensure a pleasant stay. They are equipped with a spacious living area and three sleeping areas in which you can accommodate maximum six people.

The kitchen comprises a sturdy metal unit with a comprehensive supply of kitchenware, a large refrigerator with freezing compartment and a 4 ring gas cooker.

There is a double bed in one of the three sleeping areas which can all be closed off. The other two areas both have two single beds. The comfortable sprung beds are equipped with good mattresses.

The bungalows are equipped with lighting, including a portable light for use outside. The electrical unit has seven Dutch sockets of 220 Volts.

Each frame tent has a garden set comprising a table, 6 bucket seats and a parasol. The two luxurious adjustable sun loungers provide extra comfort.

The safari tent Camel comprises three sleeping sections, one with a double bed, one with two single beds and one with one single bed.

The spacious living section includes a kitchen cabinet, four-ring gas cooker and large refrigerator with freezer compartment.

Under the awning you will find a dining table with five chairs and two loungers.

You should bring your own pillows, blankets and bed linen.

Vriendelijke mensen die je direct te woord staan/verder helpen. Prachtige omgeving die erg toegankelijk is. Mooie, rustige camping met geweldige faciliteiten. Geen overdreven groot entertainment maar dat vonden wij wel fijn, zo ook het zwembad. aan de kleine kant, maar prima. Fijn wandelpad (verlicht, 1,2km naar Castellane) erg schoon! AANRADER!!!!!!
