The Les Fontaines campsite lies at the tip of Lake Annecy, which is one of the most beautiful lakes in Europe. It is a good-sized, quiet family campsite in a green and mountainous landscape. You will regularly see paragliders floating above you. The shops in Chaparon are around 3 km away from the campsite and the famous Annecy is 17 km away.
The aqua park has a heated swimming pool, child and baby pool with a variety of pool games and toadstools, a jacuzzi and five slides! As well as this, there is a (partially) covered swimming pool with a wooden patio and a solarium located centrally at the campsite. This pool has a jacuzzi and a variety of pool games for children.
There is a wealth of entertainment for both young and old. There are sport activities, children’s games, evening shows and performances around the clock. There is also a large recreation area with a trampoline, rope-pyramid, slides and a multisports field.
Lake Annecy and the local area offer numerous sports challenges: from watersports (especially in Doussard, 1.5 km away from campsite) to extreme sports, such as paragliding, rafting, canyoning and an adventure park.
The Les Fontaines campsite is situated in the Haute-Savoie. A number of day trips are available in this area. The town of Annecy has charming little streets, great restaurants and is a perfect place to shop. You can cycle to Annecy along the lake. The Col de la Forclaz mountain pass provides a beautiful view of Lake Annecy. It is definitely worth a visit! You can also enjoy a boat trip on the lake. Tip: take the boat from Bout du Lac, which is only 1 km away from the campsite, and enjoy a relaxed journey to Annecy. A little farther away are Chamonix and Mont Blanc, which are both worth a day trip.
Keep an eye on the events calendar. There is much to experience around Lake Annecy in the summer months, such as fireworks and festivals.
