Believe it or not, you can enjoy a beach holiday in Germany. This campsite is located directly on the North Sea, on the peninsula of Butjadingen. The German wadden region is a wonderful place for long walks. The beach of Knaus Campingpark Burhave is set on their 'Nordseelagune’ (North Sea Lagoon). This newly constructed natural pool is filled with seawater. A great place for swimming and relaxing on the beach. You've also come to the right place for a beach party or a movie night. Knaus Campingpark Burhave is situated on the German Wadden Sea, about 70 kilometres north of Bremen. This is the German north coast, the Butjadingen peninsula. The river Weser flows into the North Sea here, at Bremerhaven. Campsite Burhave is located directly by the sea, close to the National Park Wattenmeer. The wadden region is not very suitable for swimming. But they thought of a solution for that at this campsite. They have constructed a brand new natural pool directly by the sea: the 'Nordseelagune'. This 1.6 hectare swimming pool is filled with seawater and is surrounded by a lovely sandy beach. The parasols give the beach an extra sunny touch. The beach slopes slowly into the water, so that even the youngest children can splash around safely. And another thing: Burhave is known for its clean air, clean beaches and environmental friendliness!Children's play paradise
Fancy a party? The campsite hosts beach parties. In the evening you can watch a film together in the open-air cinema. The campsite itself is one large playground. The roads are perfect for go-karts. Is there a strong wind? Fly a kite! There's plenty of room to do this on the large lawns. At 200 meters from the campsite you will find a great indoor playground for children. Take your kids to this play barn. Here you can clamber up a volcano, jump on trampolines and do some bowling. Try fresh milk from the farm along the way. A fresh sea breeze, views over the grassy landscape and the mudflats ... At Knaus Campingpark Burhave you will feel free. There is plenty of room for guests on the extensive lawns. There are also mobile homes overlooking the Wadden Sea. It’s a stone’s throw from these homes to the beach. Enjoy a romantic sunset or stroll along the beach with an ice cream in your hand. Outings in the area are also all about the sea and water. In Bremerhaven, three quarters of an hour’s drive from the campsite, you will find the German Maritime Museum. Combine a visit to the museum with a tour of the harbour, very interesting! In Wilhelmshaven, an hour's drive away, you will find the German Naval Museum. But be sure to also take the children to the aquarium. Here they can discover the marine life of the North Sea. The cosmopolitan city of Bremen is also worth a visit. You can be there in an hour by car.
