This friendly family campsite is located on a hillside among the vineyards and the River Saar. You will have wonderful views of the natural surroundings from Landal Warsberg Campsite. And you can walk or cycle among that wonderful greenery with the whole family. A notable feature is the cable car that leaves from the campsite and takes you to the lovely town of Saarburg in no time. And if that’s not enough, there are various playground activities and an indoor swimming pool. This makes it a perfectly relaxing and well-kept holiday address.
Camping in the Saar Valley
The Rhineland-Palatinate is a region full of variety in the western part of Germany. Landal Warsberg Campsite has a unique position up on the Warsberg hill just north of the village of Saarburg. Within just thirty minutes’ drive from the campsite you can be standing on the three countries point where a couple of steps will take you from Germany into Luxembourg and France. The indoor swimming pool is perfect, a place where children can have a wonderful time in the water, regardless of the weather. The slide in the middle of the round swimming pool is the favourite with the water babies. Toddlers can play safely in a separate pool. You can enjoy the bubble bath or even better, visit the steam cabin for a bit of relaxation.Pancake or a piece of cake?
Café-Bistro Woods on the campsite is the place to be. You can go there for a coffee or snack at any time of the day. You can round off the day there with a drink in the evening. You can eat well there, and they have a special children’s menu. You have a good view of the playground from the terrace, which is a great idea while you quietly enjoy a glass of local wine. If you want to spend a day at the campsite, there is plenty to enjoy at this lovely holiday park. They also have many camping pitches in addition to plenty of good accommodation. Bounce on the trampoline, rent inline skates, shoot down the toboggan run, play minigolf together or make a lovely piece of artwork at the Bollo Children’s Club. There are plenty of great opportunities for a day out together in the surrounding area. Maybe a boat trip on the River Saar or a visit to the Eifelpark Gondorf theme park with 200 wild animals an hour’s drive away? After a descent of 190 metres, street cafes, ruins and waterfalls will await you.
