Balatontourist Camping & Bungalows Füred is a lovely big campsite on Lake Balaton in Hungary. Lake Balaton, with a length of 80 kilometres and an average width of 8 kilometres, is the biggest lake in West and Central Europe.

Large water slide in Lake Balaton

The campsite is located in the tourist town of Balatonfüred on the northwest side of the lake. Balatontourist Camping & Bungalows Füred is a large campsite with many guests and many activities, but there is plenty of room for everybody to enjoy the sun on the grass by the shore of the lake. The water here is not very deep, making it a safe place to swim, even for children. There is a small beach close by where they can play.

Excellent standard of amenities

This campsite in Hungary has a lovely modern swimming pool with a separate shallow section and a smaller water slide. The grounds of this family campsite are level and divided into marked out pitches. The amenities are first rate, with a large supermarket, good toilet and washing facilities, a sauna, a playground, various places to eat and bars. You will find plenty of sports facilities at Balatontourist Camping & Bungalows Füred including a tennis court, volleyball field, miniature golf and table tennis.

From Tihany to Budapest

Sightseeing boats depart from Balatonfüred. The nearby Tihany headland is also good to visit. Anyone who goes camping in Hungary should visit a wine tasting or try some of Hungary's delicious regional produce. A trip to the capital Budapest is a romantic journey back in time, although the city doesn't only boast old palaces and castles along the Danube, but also has modern, trendy shops.

Grundsätzlich gut. Leicht chaotische Zustände auf den Wegen und im Schwimmbad, Schwimmer und Nichtschwimmer nicht klar definiert , schwierig dort Bahnen zu schwimmen

Unser Mobilhome war klasse! Aber der Platz versprüht sehr viel Ostblockcharme, es gibt noch viel zu tun was die Aussenanlagen, dass generelle Erscheinungsbild des Platzes betrifft. Die allen zugänglichen Räumlichkeiten wie WiFi-, Spiele- oder Animationsraum sind stark renovierungsbedürftig. Aufgrund der Sauberkeit und des Eindruckes haben wir nur einmal ein Restaurant am Campingplatz genutzt. Sehr enttäuschend, dass sogar Tischtennis kostenpflichtig war.

Der Platz an sich ist sehr schön! Wir hatten einen großen Stellplatz für 8 Leute und waren sehr zufrieden damit. Einzig die Sanitärbereiche sind sanierungsbedürftig. Ich bin dann in einen anderen, weiter entfernten Sanitärbereich zum Duschen gegangen, der war prima. Ansonsten ist auf dem Campingplatz alles vorhanden, was man so braucht. Für kleine Kinder ist der Strandabschnitt super zum spielen und plantschen.

Gezellige camping met prachtige grote plaatsen. Goed geregeld alles . Alleen de gebouwen en vooral wc mogen wel een opknapbeurt krijgen.

Der Campingplatz ist wie jedes Jahr sehr schön, aber die sanitären Anlagen sind immer noch Renovierungsbedürftig. Am Toilettenpapier sparten sie dieses Jahr sehr.

Prima, alleen jammer dat het zwembad om 18 uur al sluit. En jammer van geluidsoverlast van de oplucht disco tot 0.400 in de ochtend op do.vrij en zaterdag.
