Camping in a Catalan paradise

Not far from the bathing resort of Rosas, and within reach of the medieval town of Castelló d'Empúries, you'll find the idyllic holiday park campsite right in the heart of a protected nature reserve but with direct access to the beach on the Gulf of Roses (700 m).

Swimming with beautiful views

At the centre of campsite Castell Mar are two swimming pools giving you a fantastic view over the bay and the nature reserve, with the Pyrenees in the far distance. If you fancy flopping on the beach, you’re only 300 m away from it here at Castell Mar.

Paella and so much more

There’s an on-site takeaway for the days you’d rather not cook but would still rather eat on your own patio: the takeaway menu includes grilled chicken, pizzas and even (if you order in advance) paella. Castell Mar also has an on-site restaurant, and on some evenings, shows are put on there to entertain you as you eat.

Giant screen

The entertainment team has a varied programme for both grown-ups and children. There are daily open-air showings of a good range of international films on a big screen at Castell Mar campsite, which also shows a number of international films, major sports events, cartoons and more. There’s also a games hall and internet café.

Biggest wave machine

There’s no shortage of excursions that can be made from Castell Mar: you could visit the nature reserve, or equally worthwhile, see the ruins and historic heritage at Castelló d'Empúries. Make sure you visit Aquabrava, a water theme park in Rosas that boasts Europe’s biggest wave machine!
