Charming campsite within walking distance of a comfortable life
Lacus campsite is located in quiet, natural and shaded surroundings, close to the beach at Riells in the small town of L’Escala on the southern side of Rosas Bay in northeast Spain.
In the middle of the countryside and the centre
The charming terraced campsite has a natural lake, Estany de la Poma. You can cast a line here or just relax in the shade. The campsite is natural and quiet. It has no swimming pool and no entertainment, but is does have a restaurant, bar and terrace. This makes Lacus campsite a unique and incomparable place: in the middle of the countryside yet in the centre of L’Escala. This means you can enjoy the greenery all around you, combined with the comfort of everything the neighbourhood hs to offer.
The good life within walking distance
There are beaches, a lively boulevard, restaurants, shops and a supermarket, all within walking distance of the campsite. Parasols are available on the beach and you can try out all types of watersports (kayaking, surfing and sailing on a catamaran) or enjoy other amenities on the beach. Lacus campsite is therefore the perfect place to relax and to benefit from the practical features that the town offers.
Girona and Figueras
If you want to leave the familiar surroundings of the campsite for a while, there is plenty to see and do in the vicinity of the campsite. This part of the Costa Brava is especially appealing, not only for its beaches, rocks and bays, but also the nearby resorts and the countryside at, for example, Parc Natural del Montgrí. The towns of Girona and Salvador Dalí’s town of Figueras can also be visited.
