The area surrounding the site was picturesque and the local shops were only a 10 minute drive away.

Beautiful countryside, Leon is lovely with lots to offer. It was a nice touch to be next to the horse ranch. The lake is stunning, very peaceful. Amazing beaches.

It was a very beautiful part of the country with many places to cycle. I would take bikes if I went to this site again rather than hiring them. The beaches were very clean with minimal litter.

Great location! Close to Arcachon and the Dune du Pilat. Very close to the lovely beach Biscarrosse Plage, which is fantastic for surfing, body boarding and wave jumping. Very close to the north Biscarrosse lake, which is lovely for some calmer, child friendly bathing/paddling. The total wipeout style aqua park is great fun. The campsite also has next door a great tree top adventure course, suitable from 4 years upwards called Biscarrosse Adventure, this is great fun! 100 times better than Centre Parcs. Biscarrosse Plage town is fabulous, lots of lovely restaurants/bars, shops and a nightly market. Once a week there is a firework display.
