Euro-Camp Wilder Kaiser
General information
Always something to experience in beautiful Tyrol
Every season offers something fun at this campsite in Tyrol. Whether you enjoy hiking in summer or skiing in winter, Euro-Camp Wilder Kaiser is in a fantastic location in the picturesque valley of Kössen. Here, the whole family can enjoy a great holiday. With views of the Kaiser Mountains and plenty of fun activities, you’ll enjoy the perfect mix of adventure and relaxation in the Austrian Alps.
Swimming fun and winter sports nearby
On warm summer days, the heated outdoor pool is the ideal spot to relax. You can enjoy reading a book while the children have fun in the giant playground or the separate children’s pool. Or will you take a dip yourself? The campsite is ideal for sporty holidaymakers. From the campsite, you can walk straight to the Kalvarienberg nature trail (1.5 km). In winter, the Unterbergbahn cable car valley station is just a short walk away (350 m). This is the start of the extensive Kaiserwinkl ski area, with no less than 50 kilometres of slopes!
Play, sports and good food
Young campers will never be bored at Euro-Camp Wilder Kaiser! They can go wild in the large playground and dance and play with new holiday friends during the extensive entertainment programme. In the high season (July and August), they can also burn off energy at the TOPI Kids Club. And don’t worry if the weather isn’t great – there’s a fun indoor playroom! Looking for a bit more relaxation? The campsite also offers a sauna and solarium. Afterwards, you can enjoy tasty Austrian specialities at the Kaiseralm Pizzastadl. The mini-market offers fresh bread, vegetables, fruit, and all the essentials for a carefree holiday every day.
Discover Kaiserwinkl together
Euro-Camp Wilder Kaiser is located in the heart of the Kaiserwinkl region, making it easy to explore the surroundings. Visit the summer toboggan run and play park in Walchsee (7 km), Familienland amusement park (30 km), or the fairy tale and amusement park in Marquartstein (21 km). There’s something for everyone! Culture lovers can visit the open-air museum near Reintalersee or the Handicraft Museum in Rattenberg. And the towns of Kufstein (27 km), Innsbruck (92 km), and Salzburg (75 km) are also close enough for a fun day out.
Authentic events: ballooning and Almabtrieb
There are often fun events near Euro-Camp Wilder Kaiser that make your stay even more special. For example, in January the hot-air balloon festival takes place in Kössen. And at the end of September, there's the Almabtrieb, where beautifully decorated cows return from the alpine meadows to the valley, with bells ringing. A true Tyrolean experience in the heart of the Alps to tell everyone about!
