Geweldig vakantiepark met veel faciliteiten met heerlijke warme zwembaden, alleen jammer dat er maar 1 buitenbad op was.

The water park at this campsite in Slovenia is impressive to say the least. A relaxing camping holiday in beautiful Slovenia
Camping Terme Čatež is set in green surroundings in eastern Slovenia. The name of the campsite gives you a clue as to what makes it so special: this Slovenian campsite has its own natural thermal springs. These supply water to the large and extensive water park.
There is also plenty to discover beyond the campsite. The town of Brežice is around 4 kilometres away, while Mokrice is approximately 9 kilometres from the campsite. Zagreb is also within easy reach, with the Croatian capital around 30 kilometres away. Would you like to explore the surrounding area at your own pace? You can hire bicycles and electric bikes at the campsite.
A huge thermal water park
Do you love swimming? Then Camping Terme Čatež is the perfect place for you. The Summer Thermal Riviera features more than 10,000 m² of thermal water and offers endless aquatic fun with large water slides, water games, wave pools and a lazy river. On Pirate Island, children can climb, play and enjoy their own adventures.
Even when the weather is less inviting, you can still enjoy the water. The Winter Thermal Riviera has heated indoor pools, water attractions and the famous pirate ship. While the children are having fun, you can relax in the warm thermal water or simply float around at your leisure.
Great food, sport and relaxation
After an afternoon of swimming or sport, you are bound to have worked up an appetite. On and around the campsite, you will find a pizzeria, fast food restaurants, snack bars, a pub, an ice cream parlour and a patisserie. Whether you fancy a quick bite or a full dinner, you will not have to go far.

SunLodge guests enjoy free entry to the outdoor water park twice a day, except during the autumn and winter period. Prefer to swim indoors? Instead, you can use the indoor water park once a day for up to three hours, except during the autumn and winter period. If you would like to use both the indoor and outdoor water parks on the same day, an additional charge applies.
After a day full of water fun, you can relax in comfort at your own SunLodge. From your terrace, you can enjoy views of the green surroundings and the hills in the distance.

During the winter period, facilities are limited, but some of the indoor swimming pools remain open. Access to the pools is not included in the price during the autumn and winter period.

Heerlijk park met visplekjes en heerlijk warm zwemwater. Genoeg faciliteiten voor iedereen.

Geen animatie rond onze tijd maar dat wisten we , camping wordt opgeknapt rond de mooie te busbanen komen zeker nog een keer terug

Camping is groot maar merk je niet. Dit was de 2e keer dat we hier kwamen. Er is geen animatie in de avond wat ik zeer jammer vind. Dit zou een geweldige aanvulling zijn.
Er is hier en daar wel wat achterstallig onderhoudt zoals tegels in de straat die ontbreken waar je je lelijk aan kan bezeren.
Huisje Catalpa waarin we zaten was super evenals de 2 hosts, wat een lieve zorgzame personen! De tenten die naast en voor het huisje staan zorgen wel voor geluidsoverlast doordat alles wat ze doen te horen is.

Grote, nette camping.
Receptie: Nederlandse medewerker aanwezig. Jammer dat je, als je de factuur niet goed heb bekeken, er daar achter komt dat je nog een aantal dingen achteraf moet betalen. Borg voor entreebandjes zwembaden is 50,-. Per bandje kun je per dag 2x de zwembaden betreden (geen tijdslimiet). Je krijgt een klein papiertje, als borggarantie bij je andere papieren. Bewaar deze goed. Anders krijg je de 50,- niet terug.
Het park/plaatsen: netjes en ruim opgezet. Voldoende toiletgebouwen. Zijn schoon.
Na/voordeel met een camper: je mag zelf een plekje zoeken op de daarvoor aangegeven gebieden. Dat is fijn. Genoeg plekken ook zeer schaduwrijk, niet verhard. Maar wil je een dagje weg, dan kan je plek ook ingenomen zijn door een ander. (Dus afbakenen die hap!)
Zwembaden en glijbanen zijn top. Genoeg keuze. Water is (mij te) warm. Maar goed het heet niet voor niets Therme Catez. Animatie is aanwezig op diverse plekken in/rond het zwembad. Let op: je kan alleen iets kopen door geld op je polsbandje te zetten (via pin bij het zwembad).
Binnenzwembad ben ik niet ingewerkt, maar volgens de kinderen was daar niet zo veel aan. Maar goed bij 30• hoef je ook niet binnen te zijn. Wij zaten dicht bij de bakker. Elke dag vers brood. Campingwinkel stelt niet zoveel voor. ‘Gewone’ supermarkten zijn op een paar kilometer afstand.
Veel diverse nationaliteiten. Ook redelijk veel Nederlanders.
Wij zijn eerder terug gegaan omdat er noodweer voorspeld werd. De camping is dan ook gefaseerd ontruimd.
Jammer van de (betaalde) vakantiedagen uiteraard, maar gelukkig hebben we van het noodweer niks meegemaakt.
