The Mediterranean is a beautiful outdoor swimming pool
At Cala Montgó campsite, you can choose where you take a refreshing dip. Will you opt for the Mediterranean Sea or the modern outdoor pool? The pool is located at the highest part of the campsite, near the restaurant. Around the pool you will find comfortable sun loungers and palm trees. Ideal for a quiet afternoon. The Cala Montgó beach is just a few minutes' walk from the campsite. The water quality here is so good that the beach has been awarded a Blue Flag. The family-friendly sandy beach is perfect for swimming and sunbathing. Are you the adventurous type? Then you can also come here to kayak, snorkel or paddleboard. In addition, boat trips are organised to the hidden bays and caves along the Costa Brava.
Diverse facilities and accommodations
wecamp Cala Montgó has various facilities to ensure you have a pleasant stay. In addition to a swimming pool with a children's pool, you will also find a supermarket, restaurant and snack bar. In the evening, you can enjoy live music, the open-air cinema and pub quizzes. And for the children, there is a Kids Club with an entertainment programme. The campsite also has a wellness area for relaxing massages and morning yoga. Active holidaymakers can enjoy the sports facilities for beach volleyball, beach tennis and table tennis. Or along the coast, where you can go kayaking, snorkelling and paddleboarding. In the restaurant and snack bar you can enjoy Mediterranean dishes, tapas and refreshing drinks. Fun excursions in the area
There are many fun excursions possible from wecamp Cala Montgó. The Ruïnes of Empúries (5 km) are certainly worth a visit. Here you will find remains from the Greek and Roman eras. In Figueres (30 km) you will find the famous Dalí museum. Girona (45 km) is a historic city with a beautiful centre and colourful houses. For nature lovers, a visit to Cap de Creus National Park (50 km) is a must. And if you are willing to travel a little further for an impressive day trip, Barcelona is about 1.5 hours away. Whether you want to have a relaxing time on the Costa Brava or get out and about, at wecamp Cala Montgó you will have a holiday that meets your expectations.
