Sights from your campsite in the Ardennes

During your holiday in the Ardennes you will both mentally relax and be physically challenged at one of the campsites. The Ardennes has plenty of spectacular sights, such as:

  • La Roche en Ardenne
    If you want to take a lovely hike or go kayaking then La Roche en Ardenne on the River Ourthe is a great starting point from which to explore the region. A visit to the castle in the town itself is certainly worth your while.
  • Durbuy
    Take a trip to Durbuy during your holiday, it is the smallest city in the world with city rights. The city is known for its wonderful sights and lovely restaurants and cafes and you can’t forget: the Durbuy Rock festival!
  • War museum in Bastogne
    The Ardennes saw heavy fighting in the Second World War. The War museum in Bastogne gives a detailed overview of the fighting in the Ardennes. It is an interesting and educational trip to take from your campsite.

There are certainly many more sights worth visiting from your camping site. The Ardennes is of course also famous for the many caves, the race circuit in Francorchamps and the water springs in Spa.

The Ardennes has something for everyone

You will also enjoy the cuisine when staying at a campsite in the Ardennes. The region is famous for its Ardennes ham and the delicious Trappist beer, amongst other things. Visit one of the many restaurants and cafes and enjoy the gastronomic highlights.

You can of course choose to go camping in your own tent or caravan. In the Ardennes you have the option to rent an accommodation, like a bungalow or mobile home, at many of the campsites.
