Holiday on the Dalmatian headland of Pag
The Dalmatian coast is a special part of an already beautiful country – Croatia!
The Šimuni family campsite is located on the second biggest island of Dalmatia. Or to be more precise, on a headland. The campsite is accessible by a beautiful boat ride from Prizna and by car over a bridge, which is handy if you are bringing your caravan or motorhome.
Crystal clear water, so also underwater pleasure!
Camping Simuni is located between the towns of Pag and Novalja on a beautiful coastline with bays, beaches and small islands. The water is crystal clear here, thanks to the fine shingle. The area is known for its rich underwater flora and fauna, so make sure the children bring their goggles, snorkels and flippers! You can watch fishermen return from a day at sea, with their catch of large lobsters, in the nearby fishing village of Šimuni.
Wellness and local specialities
The campsite is located in an oak forest and offers clean, modern facilities. You can relax in the wellness centre. The salt beach, where you can benefit from halotherapy, is unique to the Šimuni. There is a pizzeria and a restaurant. There are sports facilities and entertainment for both young and old. Fresh fruit, basic shopping and newspapers are available at the campsite. You can try local herb liqueurs and cured ham at the market, both of which the area is known for and proud of! The restaurants serve, amongst other things, delicious freshly caught fish. Connoisseurs can, of course, tuck into fresh lobster!
