Camping in style: castles and royal swimming pools in the heart of Brittany

Domaine de L’Orangerie de Lanniron offers a truly unique setting. You’ll be camping in the actual grounds of a 17th-century château! And it shows in everything around you: beautiful gardens and stately homes are dotted between the water park, petting zoo and trampoline park. Just outside the charming town of Quimper and right by the banks of the River Odet, it’s the kind of place where you can easily imagine yourselves as royalty, just for a while.
 

750 m² of pools, slides and wellness

The campsite is set on a historic estate along the River Odet, tucked away in a 45-hectare park filled with terraced gardens and orchards. Swimming in the river isn’t allowed due to the current, but canoeing is. Luckily, there’s a large heated water park with slides, splash pools, waterfalls and hot tubs! Is the weather not playing along? Head to the smaller indoor pool for a swim. And if you’re after some serious relaxation, treat yourself to a visit to the wellness centre (additional charges apply).
 

Fun and activities for the whole family

Playgrounds, a petting zoo, a trampoline park, bouncy castles, sports fields... kids won’t know where to start! At weekends, don’t miss the birds of prey show with a real falconer, or let the little ones join the kids’ club (with activities in English and French). For an extra treat, you can book a tennis court, a pony ride or a round on the 9-hole golf course. Hungry? Grab a bite at the poolside restaurant, enjoy a snack at the rustic farm café, or browse the campsite shop for fresh local products.
 

Discover the real Brittany

From the campsite, it’s a short bike ride into the centre of Quimper. Wander through medieval streets, admire the stunning cathedral and sample Breton cuisine at a sunny terrace café. The coast is also close by – it’s just a 20-minute drive to the beach at Bénodet or the harbour of Sainte-Marine. Fancy a day trip? The walled town of Concarneau is less than half an hour away.

Rustige camping, nette algemene ruimtes, goed onderhouden. Het restaurant stelde niks voor. Alleen op thema avonden was er een eenvoudige maaltijd. Zeer vreemd voor een camping van dat kaliber en niveau!

Rustige camping in een prachtige omgeving met veel gratis faciliteiten voor de kinderen. Er wordt goed Engels gesproken, personeel is vriendelijk en de service is super. Quimper is op loop/fietsafstand en is een prachtige stad.

Hele rustige camping, geen 5 sterren waardig. Zeker niet het toilet voorzieningen. Beplanting etc wel erg netjes onderhouden. En grotendeels grote plekken.
