General information
Great comfort in the Doubs (Jura) in Eastern France
Camping Du Bois de Reveuge can rightfully call itself a 4-star campsite. Here, you will be spoiled with ‘Grand Confort’! And all of this in a fantastic location in the Doubs department in eastern France. In the heart of a beautiful region, close to the well-known tourist areas of Jura, the Vosges, and Alsace, and not far from the Swiss border.
Fishing and swimming
Go canoeing or fish for carp in the campsite’s small lake, or enjoy swimming and sailing during the high season. The two swimming pools on the campsite, one of which is covered, are free to use. One is equipped with exciting water slides, while the other can be covered, allowing children to take a dip even in less favorable weather. And how about the fitness room? This way, you can stay in shape even while on holiday!
Explore the surroundings on horseback
Camping Du Bois de Reveuge is set in a 24-hectare holiday park with rolling meadows, forests, and lakes. The campsite is surrounded by nature and overlooks the foothills of the Jura mountains. Children can enjoy pony rides at the campsite, while adults can go on horseback excursions. You can also rent mountain bikes on-site to explore the beautiful surroundings, and guided hikes are organized as well.
The Doubs is full of surprises
Other day trips will take you to the restored fortresses of Besançon and Belfort, the valley of the Doubs River, the zoo of Mulhouse, the fascinating Peugeot car and bicycle museum in Sochaux, and the toy museum in Montbéliard Castle. This castle looks more German than French, as Montbéliard belonged to Württemberg for a long time and still has many buildings with a distinct German influence. If this is your first time camping in this part of France, you will be amazed by the breathtaking landscapes of the Jura and Alsace and the many charming French villages.
