It is a beautiful area with lots to do for an active holiday. Ideal for families. We loved that we could cycle safely into Castellane at any time of day. Castellane had restaurants, bars and shops so was a lovely place to visit.

Walking distance to local town. Close enough for day trip to cote d'azur and monaco lakes, mountains and beaches all easily accessible

Lovely scenery though you need to arrive early at the viewpoints otherwise you can't park as we discovered! Nice to be able to walk into the town Castellane. Enjoyed the rope course at the Adventure Forest. Didn't realise the rafting was only once a week so we didn't have chance to do it. The pedalo boats with the slides on the nearby lake were a great hit with the kids!
