Stayed on Camping Sandaya Côte de Nacre in Saint-Aubin-sur-Mer in May 2018

The campsite was 500m from the sandy beach and you had to walk through the town centre that had all the necessary amenities with many shops ranging from a local, small supermarket for last-minute supply and a chemist for unexpected scratches. Besides, the sea front had an excellent range of restaurants, including two serving food all day for people like us who like to eat at ungodly times!

Large sandy beaches nearby. Local architecture. Not over commercialised - traditional holiday venue. Proximity to historical sites. Something to appeal to all age groups.
