Kronenburger See is a beautiful lake that, since 2025, has reopened for swimming and water sports following extensive renovations. Whether you’re diving in for a swim or simply enjoying the natural beauty, it’s a perfect spot to relax or get active. Prefer swimming pools? Campingpark Kronenburger See offers a special deal for guests to use the outdoor pool in Schleiden at a discounted rate—just a 30-minute drive away. There are also several indoor pools nearby, such as those in Dahlem and Jünkerath. Back at the campsite, kids can burn off some energy in the large playground.
 

Schnitzels and other tasty treats

The campsite’s bistro is a great place to grab a quick bite or enjoy a full dinner. If you’re a fan of schnitzels, you’re in luck! The menu also includes a variety of regional dishes. Every morning, you can pick up freshly baked German bread rolls from the small on-site shop, which also stocks essentials like snacks, ice cream and magazines. For larger grocery trips, the town of Stadtkyll is just 9 km away.

Campingplatz hat definitiv kein 5-Sterne-Niveau nach deutschem Standard! Sehr sauber und gepflegt, freundliches Personal, Brötchenservice, Fahrradverleih.
Aber die Ausstattung und Sauberkeit der Chalets ist für diesen Preis nicht zufriedenstelled.

Family with children, 12 - 18 years

Der Campingplatz liegt direkt am Kronenburger See. Bei Regen ist er sehr schnell überflutet. Das Wasser fließt nicht ab, sondern sammelt sich sehr schnell auf den Wiesen. Der Boden ist sehr steinig und dementsprechend versickert das Wasser nicht. Die Sanitäreinrichtungen sind sehr gepflegt und sauber. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich. Die Ferienhäuser haben keine direkte Verbindung zu den Stellplätzen bzw. der Rezeption. Sie sind durch einen durchgängigen Zaun getrennt. Man muss komplett außen herum laufen. Fürs Brötchenholen ist der Weg zu lang. Empfehlenswert ist ein Törchen in den Zaun einzubauen, damit man schneller ans Ziel kommt.
