General information
Camping in the unique Eifel landscape
A wonderful camping holiday near the point where Germany, Belgium and Luxemburg come together in the German-Luxemburgian natural Park in Waxweiler. Camping Park Eifel is located on the banks of the small River Prüm and is ideal for those who love peace and nature. But that doesn't mean you will be at a loss if you prefer to stay active. Rent a bike for example and explore the wonderful surroundings. Or go hiking, the Eifel is a walker's paradise.
Working on your racket skills
If you decide to remain on Camping Park Eifel in Germany for a day you can choose a round of tennis, tabletennis, or minigolf. You can cast a line in the stream while the children enjoy themselves in the playground. The (free) municipal outdoor swimming pool with its welcoming beach bar is at walking distance.
Get to know your neighbours
There is an entertainment programme in high season for young and old. Get to know your fellow guests while playing sports and sports tournaments. Enjoy mini discos, communal evening walks or fun activities such as the "game without borders".
A drink and a chat
Naturally there is a real German 'Bierstube' where you can chat to the other camping guests while enjoying a drink and a snack. You will receive a warm welcome in the beautiful reception area. The toilet block is new and very attractive for children. You can get fresh bread and other basic groceries in the campsite shop. If you need more in the way of groceries you can head to the supermarket in Waxweiler.
Head out to the sights
There is plenty to see in the area. Explore the Eiffel's unique landscape on foot, by bike or by car. Visit Prüm with its famous abbey, Birburg, Trier, St. Vith in Belgium, the Ardennes, or eastern Luxembourg. If you like car racing you will be happy to hear the Nürburg circuit is nearby. And if you have the chance, be sure to experience the Echternacher Spring procession, which is on Unesco's World Heritage list!
