Sun, sea, and sandy beaches in the heel of Italy’s boot. Camping La Masseria is wonderfully nestled among olive groves along the Ionian coast of Puglia. It’s the perfect spot for families seeking peace and quiet, as well as those who love the southern Italian outdoors. Here, you’ll sleep surrounded by vineyards and tall pine trees that offer welcome shade.

Three football fields of swimming fun

The campsite is located in sunny Salento, near the charming fishing town of Gallipoli. And with so much sun, swimming is a must! At camping La Masseria, you’ll find a huge pool complex spanning 1.5 hectares—about three football fields of swimming fun. There are also two whirlpools, a shallow pool, and a perfect spot for stretching out with a magazine.

Just 200 meters from the campsite lies a private beach—perfect for a refreshing dip or a lazy afternoon soaking up the sun. A little further away, just 2 kilometers from La Masseria, is the Splash water park. It’s a great place for a fun day out with the kids, though you might hear some of the excitement from the campsite.

Hop on a Hydrobike

The campsite’s restaurants ensure you won’t miss a thing during your stay. There’s a ristobar, a pizzeria with a cafeteria, and even a winery. At Il Ristobar, you’re welcome all day long—even for breakfast if you ask! If you’re visiting between June and mid-September, you’re in for an extra treat. Two kids’ clubs keep children from 3 to 16 entertained with workshops, dress-up fun, and even baby dance parties. Meanwhile, you can hop on a hydrobike or sit back and enjoy a themed evening.

Gallipoli itself is a true gem, with its narrow streets, a lively harbor, and cozy cafés. No wonder it’s known as the Pearl of the Ionian Sea. The baroque city of Lecce is also just a short trip away. Prefer a boat trip along the coast or a day at a family-friendly beach like Rivabella? Everything is within easy reach here.
