City trips and beach days

A holiday near Rome and the Mediterranean Sea? This luxury campsite is located between the Italian capital and the beach. Here you will be camping in the middle of the Pineta di Castel Fusano nature reserve. From the campsite it is less than thirty kilometres to the centre of Rome. You can also easily reach Rome by public transport from campsite Roma Capitol. A nice thought with that hectic Italian traffic. And the sea? It’s only a five-minute drive away. So get ready for a holiday full of city trips and beach visits!

Swimming pools in the sun

Camping Village Roma Capitol has three swimming pools. You can swim laps in the competition pool. But if you would rather relax in the water with the sun above you, then you can let yourself be pampered with a hydro massage in the large pool. The children can have hours of fun in the paddling pool. If you prefer to be in the shade, then have a lie down under one of the pine trees. Or choose a seat on the terrace of the modern bar. Enjoying a cool drink at the pool; that's a real holiday.

Serving balls on the tennis court

Football, tennis, volleyball: every sport has a sports field at this campsite. Sports enthusiasts will have a great time at Camping Village Roma Capitol. Help the children practice their back hand, or go play with them in the playground. But the entertainment team also knows how to keep children busy. With water games and sports tournaments for example.

A sun holiday in a SunLodge

The campsite is situated in a large pine forest. The tall trees provide shady spots. You can also choose a pitch in the sun. Do you want to enjoy the sun, but still keep things cool? Then stay in one of the SunLodges. The SunLodge Catalpa and BigLeaf have air conditioning. In these luxury mobile homes it is always nice and cool. If you’d still like to enjoy the sun, then there’s a DuoLounger waiting outside.

Rome

If you come to Camping Roma Capitol, then of course you will want to see Rome. The Italian capital is less than an hour's drive from the campsite. Handy, because then you can visit Rome several times during your holiday. That’s good, because it is impossible to see this great city in just one day. You’ll need one day for admiring the Pantheon and the Coliseum. The next day for visiting Villa Borghese and the Forum Romanum. And the day after for exploring Vatican City. There’s plenty to do in Rome!

An environmentally friendly trip along the coast

Do you want to take a trip along the Italian coast? Then rent an electric car from the campsite. Environmentally friendly, and you can leave your own car at the site! So you're always very mobile. Also handy if you are travelling to the campsite without a car.

Camping has never been so luxurious and comfortable as it is now. With the Big Leaf SunLodge we have developed a holiday home (52 m2!) that is not only a place to spend the night but also an exceptional experience. You may ask yourself if you are actually on holiday or on safari. The teak furniture, the bamboo look floor, safari wall posters, the Zebrano finish, the tiger print lounge sofa ... they all point to a wonderful adventure this holiday!

And it all points to glamping. Because we have thought of everything. There is a lovely tree trunk table, a dishwasher and you can stand in the spacious bathroom under a wonderful rain shower. Did we say bathroom? There are actually two! Plus three spacious bedrooms, of which one has a king-size bed.

The air-conditioning ensures you get a wonderful night's sleep between the luxury cotton bedding. But, it's not time for that yet. First you can listen to your favourite music that reverberates through the Bluetooth system and you can enjoy the sun with a drink in your hand. Relax and unwind on the Duo Lounger on the patio or in the sun on one of the sun loungers!

And that patio! It is the perfect spot to completely relax and unwind. You can enjoy a lovely breakfast at the large wooden table in the morning, and relax on the sun loungers in the sun in the afternoon, while the children play on and around the large Duo Lounger sofa.
Inside it is like you are on an adventurous safari. The floor has a lovely bamboo look, the furniture has a stylish Zebrano finish and the lounge sofa and foot stool have a velvety animal print. The wall posters complete the picture. You can almost hear the tigers roar. Well, you can actually! Because with the Bluetooth system, you can always play your favourite music.
Just imagine it. All together, eating and drinking around the kitchen island, talking about the wonderful things you will do the next day, and no worries about the washing up because that will do itself. Leaving you even more time for each other and yourself. And after every day of your holiday there is a comfortable bed with a thick mattress waiting for you. The following day then starts with a lovely, hot rain shower in the morning. And with two bathrooms there's no need to rush. It's holiday time after all!
