Stayed on Camping Village Baia Blu La Tortuga in Aglientu in August 2022

Need a car to travel around - only four restaurants nearby - not in a town per se, but Vignola Mare has a small market in the evenings in the square and live music. An hour from Olbia airport. Lots of lovely beaches nearby both ways. Rent a boat out of Conca Verde to La Maddalena archipelago and swim in the sea around the bays. Just under an hour to Castelsardo to walk around the town and fort. Just half an hour to Santa Teresa di Gallura - lovely centre for walking about at night (and buying leather bags!). An hour to Palau to catch the ferry over to the archipelago (lovely to drive around and visit the beaches and walk around the town) with lots of beaches along the way. An hour to go round the area of Porto Rotondo/Baia Sardinia and Porto Cervo - posh marinas reflected in the prices!

Lots of beautiful and quiet beaches. If you have a car shops are easily accessible locally.

Beaches were beautiful, and a lovely little town close by with shops and restaurants. The restaurant Marios was lovely.

Close enough to Santa Teresa to visit a large market, and a bustling town which is still traditional and not too big. Local centre has all you need if you want more than the campsite itself provides. If you're not a beach fan, or just want a change, there are lovely areas to visit within an hour inland - mountains and cork forests particularly.

Being able to watch the beautiful sailing boats was lovely. I think it would have been nice to be able to experience some authentic sardinian trips to learn more about the people and eat authentic food
