Camping Delle Gorette is tucked away in an extensive pine forest on the Tuscan coast and feels like a small, well-organised holiday village. Everything is within easy walking distance. The campsite is located in Cecina Mare on the Costa degli Etruschi, a popular region known for its long sandy beaches and lush greenery. A short walk through the pine forest brings you to the sea in just a few minutes. On site, the swimming pool with slide and whirlpool guarantees hours of water fun. Bringing your dog along on holiday? There’s a dedicated dog-friendly beach about 500 metres away.
Fun for the whole family
There’s always something happening on the campsite. The animation team organises games, sports tournaments and shows for all ages. Children burn off energy in the playground or on the sports fields, or you head out together for a fun trip along the Tyrrhenian coast. For everyday essentials, there’s a supermarket, a bazaar and bike hire. In the evening, you sit down at the restaurant or simply pick up a pizza to take away.
Nature, adventure and culture
The surrounding area invites you to explore. Cycle along the coast or through vineyards on the well-known Strade del Vino around Bolgheri. A real highlight is the location next to the Tomboli di Cecina nature reserve, a protected pine forest rich in flora and fauna. Other great nearby outings include Acqua Village Cecina, with exciting tiki-themed slides and pools, and the adventure park Il Giardino Sospeso, perfect for climbing and scrambling. Fancy a dose of culture? Drive to Pisa and, after about an hour, come face to face with the famous Leaning Tower.
