A private beach, water park and aqua park: at this Italian campsite you'll have watery fun for days on end. You will be staying in a pine forest on the Cavallino-Treporti peninsula, between Caorle and Venice. Campsite San Francesco is located directly on the beach of the Adriatic. Campsite San Francesco is located near Caorle, in a beautiful pine forest, right by the sea and beach. Ten minutes drive and you're in the fishing village of Caorle. But Venice is also just fifty kilometres from the campsite. The campsite's private beach is a perfect place for a sunny beach holiday. Take a dip in the sea, or go on a water-skiing or windsurfing adventure. And good news for dog lovers: the campsite has a separate dog beach.Hours of swimming fun
At this Italian campsite you have the luxury of several water parks! All the swimming pools and slides will be sure to provide hours of fun for every day of the holiday. So dive in! Bubbling in the whirlpool, playing with the children in the paddling pool or swimming some laps... It's all possible at campsite San Francesco. The swimming pools are scattered around the campsite, so you're always close to a dip in the water. Want to race off the high water slides? Then the aqua park is the place for you.A swinging evening
Looking for the kids? Chances are you'll find them in the play village, with its bouncy castles and ball pit. Your teenagers are probably taking part in water contests. You yourself can take salsa, merengue and mambo lessons at the dance school. After a full day you can eat together in one of the restaurants. Will you choose a fish dish, a pizza or Italian tapas and wine? Try your dance moves on stage after dinner. But you can also just watch dance shows or theatre performances. Where would you prefer to camp? Among the trees or almost right on the beach? The camping pitches at campsite San Francesco are mainly located in the pine forest. But there are also a few spots in the dunes. Would you like the luxury of a mobile home? Then you will be spoilt for choice. There are even apartments with bed and breakfast service; extra luxurious! The balconies of these 'sky rooms' look out over the campsite.Caorle or Venice
With its coloured houses and narrow streets, Caorle is definitely worth a visit. Caorle is only ten minutes from the campsite. Looking for the best and freshest fish? Then walk into one of the restaurants. Or visit the fish market to see what the fishermen have brought in. Then you can pick your own fish for the barbecue. Venice, of course, is not to be missed if you are holidaying so close by. You can be in Punta Sabbioni in a half-hour drive. From there, several ferries leave for the canals of Venice. Just the boat trip to this famous Italian city is great fun for the kids.
